I wrote a series of infographics that answer the question “Why is KISS in everything?” You can read it as part of this preview for Devastator 8: Crossovers. Plus there’s a comic written by Asterios Kokkinos and an epic poem by Kevin Pedersen.

Also, KISS just bought an arena football team, which they will be calling the LA KISS. Sigh.

Finally, the perfect use for The Smiths.

I’m getting ready to fly out to Minneapolis to do my first full run of Lord of the Files as part of the Minnesota Fringe Festival. It’s nice to have the luxury of doing 5 shows.  And also to have a longer running time so that I can color in some more details. The fringe is generally pretty low-tech, so I made all of my slides into vaudeville cards, which was tricky and involved a lot of expensive mistakes at Kinko’s.  On the other hand, I won’t have any last minute projector-related panic. Anyway, if you know anyone in the Twin Cities, here’s my show. Come up and say hi. I’ll be the one dragging the easel around.

Did this really fun show when I was in NYC. Pictures!  Eric Michael Pearson is great.

Surprise guests? We got ‘em!

Check out these amazing backstage pics from last week’s Night Train with Wyatt Cenac. Featuring unannounced guests Zach Galifianakis, John Oliver and Alia Shawkat. Plus hilarious announced guests Emily Heller, Mark Normand and Lesley Tsina.

Asterios Kokkinos made this a while back and the Devastator staff has been getting on his case for months for not posting it. We did not realize that it was part of a master plan of Star Wars pun domination. Check out http://www.admiralackbarsads.com/

General Grevious’ Fennel-Encrusted Eaglesses?!

The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills Season 3 Trailer

Written by by Alex Staggs and Katie Nehra. Cast: Tim Brennen, Beth Crosby, Shari Eckert, Steve Little, Rex Lee, Katie Nehra, Avi Rothman, Alex Staggs and Lesley Tsina. Directed by Aaron Greenberg.

This is ridiculous and somewhat NSFW. Someone accidentally swallowed real valium during the shoot. Alex Staggs is the best.
